Admission Process for 2025

Eligibility Criteria

  • Academic Qualifications:
    • Candidates must have completed their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent examinations in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
    • A minimum combined GPA of 9.0 in SSC and HSC is required, with no less than a GPA of 3.5 in each examination.
    • For candidates from Hill Districts and tribal communities, a combined GPA of 8.0 is acceptable, maintaining a minimum of GPA 3.0 in each exam. Additionally, all candidates must have a GPA of 3.5 in Biology in the HSC examination
  • Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of Bangladesh.

Seat Allocation

Rangpur Medical College offers 250 seats for the MBBS program and 52 seats for the BDS program.

These seats are allocated based on merit and the government’s reservation policies, which include:

  • Merit Quota: 80% of the seats are awarded to candidates based on their performance in the admission test and academic results.
  • District Quota: 20% of the seats are reserved for candidates from various districts, ensuring regional representation.
